One Terms Free Ballet Classes a the Gielgud Academy - (No turtle doves, not allowed by the RSPB)
The second silent auction item that has been kindly donated is that of an entire terms Ballet classes at the Gielgud Academy located on the Broadway of Haywards Heath. This items is for a full terms ballet lessons for a boy or girl aged between 5 and 11 and so if your son or daughter is the next Nureyev or Nijinsky then this is the one for you.

A big thank you to everyone who supported the Girls Pink Night Village Catwalk on November 4th. Leaf, Tufnels, The Toll House, Bliss and Perri Winkle took part in an evening of fun and fashion and we raised over £1,600 to be shared between the school and local children’s charities.
At Village Night on Tuesday 6th December, the PTA will be selling delicious mince pies and mulled wine, so please come along and support us and enjoy some yummy refreshments.
A gentle reminder for you all to fill the green Happy Bags for the textile collection on Friday 18th November (they should have come home in your bookbags – otherwise some spares are available at the school office).
We are collecting unwanted clothing (dry and clean please), shoes (pairs only), handbags, belts and hats, as well as bed linen and curtains.
Please can you bring the bags into school with you on Friday 18th November, from 8.30am-9.00am, where a van will be waiting in the parking bays to collect your bags.
The PTA raised over £200 at the last collection, so it is a great way for you to help us raise funds!
Year 6 students will be helping the PTA sell second hand uniforms on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month, from 3pm until 3.30pm. Items range in price from 50p for a pair of PE shorts to £3.50 for a school fleece.
All profits will go towards the Year 6 end of term production.
Helen Bullimore (mum to Joshua in Year 2) has completed her Husky Drive and helped raise £80 for the PTA. Well done Helen!
The PTA supported the school’s 10 year birthday celebrations by providing 440 cup cakes for all the children and a special birthday cake that was presented in assembly on Friday. Huge thanks to Jillian Phelan, Tabitha Mitchell and Liz Martin for making the cakes. All the children decorated a ‘smartie’ to sit on the special cake, which formed the centre of our birthday celebrations in the Lindfield Village Day Parade on Saturday 4th June 2011.
The setting was perfect, the marquee was stunning and it was a balmy summer’s evening helping to ensure than over 250 parents and teachers enjoyed themselves at the annual summer ball on Sat 2nd July. Well done to the organising team, who helped raise over £4,500 at this single event!
